Held near Blandford Forum, just off the A354 the show has something for everyone, whatever your interests! Maybe you are a collector, a steam fanatic, an exhibitor, a heavy horse fan, an avid camper, a music fan or just on holiday in the south of England at the end of August and fancy an excursion to what is described as the most remarkable show on earth!
2006 sees the 38th Great Dorset Steam Fair - make a note of the dates of this year’s show, they are: Wednesday 30th August, Thursday 31st August, Friday 1st September, Saturday 2nd September and Sunday 3rd September.
Every year the show expands and new features join the 2000 working exhibits, 200 working steam engines and 100 fairground organs on the incredible 600-acre showground! One of the most entertaining places to take your Austin Seven.

Wiscombe Park has hosted hillclimbs since 1958. The course is 1000 yards long with an average gradient of 1 in 13.6 and a steepest gradient of 1 in 6.9 at the Martini Hairpin.
